Our programs are rooted in developing and enhancing talent within the music and performing sector. Students can individualize their own program by choosing their area of skills, level of assessment and duration of course from the RQF frameworks presented.

Students require a high level of commitment and ability to manage workload. Training relies on self-directed learning as students scaffold their own level of achievement, however progress is closely monitored by qualified and/or industry staff with data and evidence of learning tracked and recorded, before students enter for external examinations through accredited U.K examinations bodies.

ACCREDITATION

CAMA’s programs which include graded examinations, ATCL and LTCL units as well as opportunities for enriching and enhancing skills are internationally accredited and recognised through independent, regulated, awarding organizations in the U.K (England, Whales, Northern Island and Scotland).

Although CAMA is not registered with the department of education in South Africa due to the qualifications not being accredited or regulated by SAQA on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), the courses are registered, accredited and regulated on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) in the United Kingdom, regulated by Ofqual for compliance and quality control.

Program s are tailor-made for the contemporary performer/producer. All our external examinations through Rockschool U.K and London Trinity College are examined by international examiners and student’s level of skill is measured against international standards. Our affiliated partners pride themselves in delivering industry-relevant programs designed to support aspiring artists.

CHOOSING YOUR PROGRAM

Students can individualize their own programs from the frameworks presented by choosing their:

1.Areas of skill
2.Level of assessment
3.Course duration

Students can select skills listed under INSTRUMENTALS, PERFORMING ARTS, MUSIC PRODUCTION or CONTENT CREATION.

A student's level of assessment depends on prior training, current skill set and any stage/studio experience. This would be determined during the base line skills audit and audition in the application process.

The duration of study is an estimate of the average time a student spends with guided learning hours, added to the average time spent learning independently. It is recognised that the amount of time needed to commit to a level will depend on each individual’s level of experience and ability, so you can study in your own time, giving you time to develop a wealth of skills and techniques relevant to the industry.
